Wig Styling
Wigs I have cut and styled to go with costumes or for photoshoots.

Left is the wig as purchased, a short black wig with two clip on ponytails. On the right is the modifications I made. I took out the two extensions from the clips and joined them, creating a thick ponytail on the back. Wig is currently under work. Styled in resemblance to the character Simon Blackquill from Ace Attorney.

Progress pictures of the wig in the previous picture. First is the extension after I took off the clip and elastic. After doing the same to the other one, I sewed both together and then used the extension's net as a case to enclosure some stuffing, creating a sort of a pillow in the middle of the hair. The end result was a volumous ponytail, which I then sewed to the wig.

Some wigs I have cut and styled, specific for characters I cosplayed or for another type of photoshoot.
I usually work with a hair iron, blowdrier, hairspray and wax. For more extreme wig styling, I also use white glue, since it's soluble in water and can be washed off in case I want to re-style the wig.
